Ber­lin, Schön­hau­ser Allee Immo­bi­lien GmbH & Co. KG awarded AUGUST REINERS the con­tract for the new con­s­truc­tion of a high-qua­lity buil­ding com­plex (SHA). The expo­sed inner-city pro­perty is loca­ted at Schön­hau­ser Allee 9 in Ber­lin-Prenz­lauer Berg, not far from Tor­straße. SHA is a new buil­ding that clo­ses a gap and is arran­ged as an elon­ga­ted struc­ture in the middle of the plot. 

The buil­ding pro­ject com­bi­nes a con­tem­po­rary mix of dif­fe­rent uses with office, com­mer­cial, restau­rant and day­care spaces. The con­cept was deve­lo­ped by Pott Archi­tects. The aim is to create a cour­ty­ard cha­rac­ter through seve­ral ope­nings as well as a pas­sa­ge­way bet­ween the indi­vi­dual neigh­bor­ing pro­per­ties for the public.
The new buil­ding will com­prise 6 full flo­ors above ground, a base­ment and an attic. The base­ment will house a bicy­cle par­king garage with 326 par­king spaces, an assem­bly area and tech­ni­cal and ancil­lary rooms. Work began in July 2020.
