This con­s­truc­tion pro­ject con­cer­ned Rudolf­straße (2nd BA) in Ber­lin Fried­richs­hain-Kreuz­berg and com­pri­sed the new con­s­truc­tion of rain­wa­ter and com­bi­ned sewer sys­tems as well as the renewal/extension of com­bi­ned sewer sys­tems and the asso­cia­ted demo­li­tion of com­bi­ned sewer systems.

The extension/renewal of the public com­bi­ned sewer net­work essen­ti­ally invol­ved the fol­lo­wing work:

  • New con­s­truc­tion of a spe­cial building
  • New con­s­truc­tion of 6 m com­bi­ned sewer made of GRP pipes DN 800 in open con­s­truc­tion method
  • New con­s­truc­tion of a shaft structure
  • Demo­li­tion and new con­s­truc­tion of two road drains

The demo­li­tion of the com­bi­ned sewer sys­tem included the demo­li­tion of 19 m of com­bi­ned sewer (DN 600) as well as the demo­li­tion of a man­hole and two inlets.


TECHNICAL DATA

The new con­s­truc­tion of the rain­wa­ter and mixed water sys­tems included the fol­lo­wing work:

  • New con­s­truc­tion of 60 m com­bi­ned sewer (vitri­fied clay pipes DN 150-DN 600) in open con­s­truc­tion method
  • Demo­li­tion of 54 m com­bi­ned sewer DN 150 to DN 600
  • New con­s­truc­tion of two shaft structures
  • New con­s­truc­tion of a manhole
  • Demo­li­tion and new con­s­truc­tion of two manholes
  • Recon­s­truc­tion of the base of three manholes
  • Enclo­sing the exis­ting con­nec­ting sewers from the exis­ting to the plan­ned com­bi­ned sewer
