This construction project concerned Rudolfstraße (2nd BA) in Berlin Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and comprised the new construction of rainwater and combined sewer systems as well as the renewal/extension of combined sewer systems and the associated demolition of combined sewer systems.
The extension/renewal of the public combined sewer network essentially involved the following work:
- New construction of a special building
- New construction of 6 m combined sewer made of GRP pipes DN 800 in open construction method
- New construction of a shaft structure
- Demolition and new construction of two road drains
The demolition of the combined sewer system included the demolition of 19 m of combined sewer (DN 600) as well as the demolition of a manhole and two inlets.
TECHNICAL DATA
The new construction of the rainwater and mixed water systems included the following work:
- New construction of 60 m combined sewer (vitrified clay pipes DN 150-DN 600) in open construction method
- Demolition of 54 m combined sewer DN 150 to DN 600
- New construction of two shaft structures
- New construction of a manhole
- Demolition and new construction of two manholes
- Reconstruction of the base of three manholes
- Enclosing the existing connecting sewers from the existing to the planned combined sewer
